YES PLEASE! Can we have more smart, semi-normal people guiding government policy and letting Trump take credit and preach to the crowds. But who will advise on foreign policy and keep us out of war?

Obviously a voice mask but the best I can recall hearing. Usually it’s hard to listen to podcasts with a masked voice because it’s not very well done.

Any chance of a transcript like the rest of your podcasts?

So, a very interesting podcast with an interesting guest. Surprised that CR is a woman (I think- you said “bro” at the end) based on the avatar.

Would have liked more of a bio - but from the conversation - I’m guessing a Jew from Quebec who is now living in/ working in the SF area? Am I close?

I initially thought the voice was AI. Sorry to Cremiuex for saying you sound slightly robotic, and props to AI voice developers for getting increasingly realistic.

I thought it was also an AI to mask the voice and stay anon.

Okay that's what I thought too! To me the speech pattern feels male!

So you think that was AI?

Definitely AI. I can forgive Razib for butchering the French name, but there's no way Cremieux can't pronounce his own name better than that (I assume an AI can't do any better).

Yes. First sentence is in a more robotic monotone before it gets dialed in. There is also a British pronunciation of schedule at one point, which is a little off compared to the rest of the diction and could probably be dismissed. The AI laugh comes off as the DALL-E nine fingered hand of audio. I assume all of these are pretty solvable. It will be interesting how fast it will improve on phrasing and word choices because even choices of phrase can be a giveaway if they contradict a flawless regional accent and flow.
